Hey everyone,

I have a question about NBME vouchers. Last year (as an M1) I received a free NBME voucher for doing a review for potential NBME products at a conference. It expires November 20 and I'm conflicted on how I should go about using it. My exam is still 6.5 months away, and I hear if you buy one you have to use it within 30 days or something. I'm not sure how the site works, but I'm obviously not going to waste an NBME this far out. I'm just worried they are going to phase out NBME 11 and throw in 18 when it comes out. I'd like to access 11 later down the line but am unsure if that is possible somehow. Can anyone who knows more about these elaborate?

E Mail them.
They once issued me a new voucher which was valid for ?6months when my NBME expired.
AFAIK you have to take the NBME once you have applied the vouche to your account and you can't "lock in" a particular NBME.
But you never know.
YMMV of course.
