Question for the board. I currently have a home radiation oncology rotation, as well as a visiting research/clinical rotation scheduled. Is it absolutely necessary or otherwise unwise (funny word choice) to not do three rotations in radiation oncology? Will selection committees look down on this when it comes to choosing candidates to interview and eventually match? I would expect to have a solid letter of recommendation from both scheduled rotations. I ask because our school only lets us do three electives in any one field and they consider diagnostic radiology and radiation oncology one field, and I really want to do a month of diagnostic radiology. I appreciate the board's input on the matter. Thanks!
