i have my 1st interview on Nov 8 @ NECO.

What do i need to expect?? im getting nervous.

OK, just got back from the interview and you have nothing to be worried about. The interview is very casual and I was never asked any "hard" questions. We just talked...a little about the school...a little about me. And it only lasted like 20 minutes. BUt one thing that was really nice is that she asked me if I wanted the admissions committee to know anything when reviewing my file, like if I wanted to explain a bad grade or something..I just thought that was nice. Anyway, seriously dont be nervous at all...it was nothing - and the interview is right away in the morning so you can relax the rest of the day-

P.S. for others who will interview with SUNY--I had to write an essay about "how effective communication plays an important role in physician-patient relationship"..

--the interview went well--just be sure u know why u want opt, why NY, what kind of practice u want to do...(private vs. commercial...etc)..the interview last for 20min...i thought it was kindda intense b/c i had three doctors firing questions out at me....i guess they just wanna know how u handle under stress...just be yourself and you'll do fine 🙂 Good luck....
