So I've been accepted to both schools and need to make a decision by the end of this week! The estimated cost of school/living is approximately the same for both (according to the paper given to me during my interview). I was told NECO does not have a strong reputation; however, I absolutely loved Boston and the school itself. ICO was fantastic but Chicago was not that neat.

What do you all think?

There are many factors to consider when making the final decision...the city and the campus, national board passing rates, class size, facilities, optometry students' opinions, etc. Personally, I would pick NECO

I noticed your acceptances to ICO NOVA and UIW - congratulations.
Out of curiosity, what made you choose UIW?

Thank you! I was informed at the interview that UIW has clinical training/patient contact from early on in the curriculum. Also the small class size and location appealed to me.

ICO and NOVA don't have early patient interaction?
