I just transfered to a 4 year unversity this fall quarter and I don't think it went so well going from a semester CC to a quarter 4 year UC. I'm thinking that just having a child and the fast pace is what killed me. Will I be able to explain that somewhere in the application when I do apply to medical school? Any others with similar situations and what you did to study and improve? We can't really afford daycare right now and my son is 7 months old so I have to watch him when my wife works and he doesn't really let me study. So any advice is welcome.

What about grandparents? It is important to have quality time to study. I know its difficult... I have a toddler.
Well we moved 3 hours from home so there's no family near here that could watch him. I'm sure as he gets older it'll be easier it just sucks because I wanted to do well my first quarter here, but it's not the end of the world. I just wondered how anyone else in my situation has done it.
