Need advice. Confused, don't know what to do!

Hey guys, I'm sincerely asking for advice here, so if you have any insight please respond 🙂

My test is on Saturday and I've been studying (seriously) for a month and a half. I've taken 16 practice exams (ADA, Achiever - waste of money, Barrons, Topscore, and Kaplan).

So, on Sunday, I took Topscore 1 and this is what I scored:

Bio: 17
Gchem: 19
Ochem: 19
RC: 20
QR: 15
PAT: 21
TS: 19
AA: 18

So, I was pretty bummed about those scores and did some reviewing. Two days later (today) I took the ADA 2009 sample exam (bought) and this is what I scored:

Bio: 24
Gchem: 21
Ochem: 17 (???? don't know what happened here)
RC: 18 (again, don't know why this is low, usually score 20-22)
QR: 15 (bringing down my AA...I don't find this acceptable. A 17-18 would be okay)
PAT: 24
TS: 20
AA: 19

With my exam 3-4 days away, what should I do? I feel like these practice tests are not giving me a correct indication on how I would do since on one I scored high/low in a section and then the opposite on the other test.

This is my first time taking the DAT and I'm also applying. I'm afraid if I reschedule, my app will be late (already mailed and received...just need DAT to be sent out at this point). My cGPA is 3.78 and my sGPA is 3.68...so I guess I would be happy with an AA of 20.

Also, I read on here how people read through Cliffs and do Destroyer and watch Chad's like 3-5x...I've only gone through my resources once :\ I can't compare myself to others since everyone learns differently, but it would seem that I'm not really prepared? I dunno.

So, should I postpone? Sorry for the long post!!!

I think you should be okay. Like you said, at a certain point taking the test and getting your application complete is the most important thing. On top of that, Bio is a mixed-bag and a lot depends on your luck at getting questions you're good at. The O Chem might be a little weak so I'd focus on what you got wrong between now and that test, but the rest looks good. Also, keep in mind that most say you do better on the real thing compared to TopScore. (And the ADA answer key isn't perfect either from what I hear.)

Just don't psyche yourself out this late in the game. Be confident and just go in knowing you're going to destroy it! 👍

thanks 🙂 i'm just a bit apprehensive b/c a lot of people here seem to go through their study materials 3x...while this past month and a half i've just brushed up on stuff i was weak in and went through everything once with occasional revisits lol

I think you're fine! Esp with your GPA you don't need like 23s to get in.

Relax, you'll be great
