Hey guys, I'm scheduled to take the DAT on saturday. I need to know if I should postpone. I have been over kaplan for 2 months and did destroyer this past week.

I have taken 2 Achiever tests. I got an 18 on every section of both tests except: 17 on both PAT's and a 16 on one of the Bio.

Which scores can I expect to go up or down?

I have heart that achiever tests are relatively harder than the actual DAT. I was scheduled to take my DAT this Friday, but i postponed it after taking the frist two Achiever tests.

I have used the store bought Kaplan DAT book--and found the two full length tests in the back of the book extremely easy. So I felt confident, but after taking the first Achiever test--AA 18, PAT 19 I paniced..I know a lot of ppl that have actually gotton 16's and 17's on the Achiever and ended up with 20+ on the real DAT it really depends on your confidence. If you feel that you can better prepare and do relatively better at a later date than I would say dont risk taking the test on saturday. I know pushing it is stressful in itself, but i think the most important thing is for you to take it when you think you are most prepared...with that being said..I wish you all the best luck and good luck with your studies 🙂.

Achiever is more difficult than the real exam, but the level/style of difficulty is just....let's say different. Mainly because achiever is designed to be a learning experience. The question structures reflect this...

It is highly probable that you will increase your scores on the real exam. However, the actual amount of increase varies by a wide margin.

Although, the days of scoring 17's on topscore and getting 20's on the real test are long behind us...
