Need advice on CA boards

I could use a little advice from those of you who have attended out of state (CA) schools, then returned to CA and taken CA boards? I've heard they're tougher on out of staters. I'm in the midst of deciding whether or not to attend a CA school or out of state school, if I want to come back to CA to practice. Any advice you could lend in the area would be appreciated. THANKS! 🙂
