Hi i took the OAT yesterday and these were my scores
org 320
gchem 330
bio 340
Qr 300
and the almighty fall in Rc 260!!!👎
i need your advice.....:scared:.

What was your Physics, TS and AA? I would call the optometry schools you are interested in. I took mine recently as well. I got a TS of 370 and an AA of 340, but my reading comprehension was a 270. I called about 10 schools and they all said my GPA and other OAT scores outweighed my 270, and that it was not a big deal.

i got a 300 in phy
TS 320
AA 310

i am yet to take the toefl because i am an international student. I hope it helps. Anyway thanks for your quick response.

I called NOVA, SALUS, PCO, Michigan, IUSO, TX, TN, OSU. Sorry, didn't see your post till today! What were you're OAT scores?

hey thanks for responding back. Isn't SALUS - PCO? Have you received any interviews? What was your gpa?

TS - 360
AA - 340

CR - 290 🙂confused🙂
everything else ranged from 320 - 370.
not sure if the CR score will impact my chances??? Shadowed 3 doctors, work at an optometrist the past 1 1/2 year, one year of eye research, volunteer my service at a free medical clinic the past two years for those without medical insurance and very active in my church.
what are my chances?

PCO is Pacific College of Optometry in Oregon. I applied to 4 schools..... PCO, IUSO, NOVA, and OSU. I got interview invited from NOVA, IUSO, and OSU within two weeks of submitting my OptomCAS (and doing the supplemental invites).

Cum. GPA: 3.80
Science and Prereq: 4.00

OAT: TS 370 AA 340

I've worked for private practice and hospital eye care for 8 years while going go school.

I think you have a solid application. You're test scores are high overall. One substandard score will not break you. Plus you have experience in the field. They want students who KNOW what optometrists do, and that they WANT to be optometrists.

What is your GPA? Have you applied...submitted OptomCAS? Heard back from any schools? etc...?
