First off I apologize fo the beginning rant but its for the background
So I was planning on taking my DAT by the middle of april. I have been using a tutor and top score, crack PAT etc.
I started practicing with Top Score a couple weeks ago. Only did the Orgo once and the Bio twice
For the Orgo I got a 19, and for the Bio I got an 18/17. The tutor is mainly for gen chem and he makes me stay on top of everything else.
I feel I should be able to get a 20+ on gen chem, math, pat (did the cracks and got 20+ but that was a while ago, just need to redo them). The only section I would need to practice is RC. By practice I mean I would be happy with a 15-16 atm.

**problem*As of right now by assessing how my past 2 weeks have gone, I feel my grades are starting to slip. I didnt do well on my first round of exams (like c's on everything). And I am a student with a 3.06 gpa (1.9 my second semester 2.5 third). I feel I cant afford the grade slip. Im debating whether I should push my DAT back to the middle of June which would give me about a month to study for it after finals. I would also cancel my tutor for a while.
Do you guys think I should? Judging by the next 2 weeks I have 4 exams and then that brings me to the end of march where I have spring break and then I would probably make it around the 15th.

**Also how early do I have to register for the DAT. I still havent registered. How do I do that.

It doesn't really ever get easier than it is now. I'm in your same shoes, I plan on taking my DAT the last week in March, and all I've done is put my body on a routine. Wake up early, when I mean early atleast 2-3 hours before class and get part of your DAT studying out of the way. The way I thought of it is you need to prioritize the DAT above all other things, because when it comes down to it you need to do well on the test. Are you trying to make next year deadline for school? If so, your fine pushing it back, but your not helping yourself with study habits.

Also, just a side note, who do you have for a tutor? Because if you haven't checked out ***********s.com it's a lifesaver! I was going to get a tutor for Gen chem too, but then I found this website and a Chad explains it 20 times better and more efficient than any tutor would ever.

I know it doesnt get easier, which is why I am worried and thinking about this now. Its only going to get worse and I feel I dont have the time. Im also a senior so I dont have much room for improvement.

I did what you said, had class at 1040 so I woke up at 830 and did a practice QRT. Got a 21.
So far for top score section tests I have:
Bio: 18/17
Orgo: 19
QRT: 21

I did CDP a few months ago received 19's + on all of them with room for improvement. I have no method for TFE and angle ranking yet.

The gen chem tutor is a guy recommended by my school. Hes awesome. Bit expensive, but awesome. And the reason I prefer a tutor over chad is because the tutor makes me stay on top of everything else (qrt, pat etc)

I would take it late May or early June. So you can have quality lone time with studying for the DAT and not worrying about other classes.
