Need Advice... Please Help....

Hi All, first of all I would like to thank you for your time for reading my post and posting me any advice regarding my situation. I am a senior year student and will be graduating in December 2010. I took some heavy load semester last year so I don't have to take any classes for my BMS degree (changed from Bio to BMS). My current GPA is 3.56 and Science GPA is around 3.45. I haven't took my DAT yet and planning to take it on Sept 15. I just found out that it takes 4 to 6 weeks for the transcript verification and processing after I submit my application. I haven't submitted my application yet. I still have to get my recommendation letters and hopefully by the first week of Sept, I will be able to do so. I have some questions regarding this issue and want to know if someone can guide me. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am planning to submit my DAT scores after I submit my applications, since I am taking it by mid Sept. If it will take 4 to 6 weeks for the transcript verification, will dental schools receive my application earlier or it will take that long. If it will take that long, should I take my DAT a little bit later so that I can have more practice. Also in the case of DAT, I am studying with DAT destroyer and Math Destroyer, Cliff BIO AP, Kaplan Blue Book, TopScore, Crack DAT PAT, ACE the DAT and Kaplan Practice Tests. If anybody knows how useful these materials were and how are the full length exams compared to the real exam. Please advice me regarding the above issues. Thanks.

1) It will take 4-6 weeks to verify your transcripts after they receive them, so send AADSAS your transcripts ASAP
2) AADSAS will not verify your transcripts until you submit your application, so do that ASAP. You don't need to have your LORs to submit your application.
3) After verification, it will take 1-2 weeks to send it out to your designated schools
4) Take the DAT when you are ready. After you take it, it will take the ADA 2-3 weeks to send it to AADSAS, then to your schools.
