So I just took my DAT today. I'll post a breakdown within the next few days. My scores were:
Bio: 23
GC: 26
OC: 24
PAT: 19
RC: 18
QR: 20
TS: 24
AA: 22
I know this might seem asinine to some people but I'm thinking about retaking. I honestly just winged the PAT, RC, and QR sections. I learned the LOS method about 4 days before the test and tried two of the Bootcamp PAT tests a full day before my exam. Also, I didn't study for RC cause I'm an avid reader, so I guess I thought I would do better. Should I retake to get better scores on RC and PAT to raise my AA?? I honestly don't know what to do. I am a non-trad (26 yrs old), dropped out of college when I was 20 (accounting major), and only found my passion a few years ago which brought me back to school to try and give this dental thing a shot (long story). Will my non-science scores be detrimental to me as far as interviews and potential acceptance into DS? I'm thinking of applying to all three schools in Texas, and maybe some out of state. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
