I live in Ohio, and I was wondering if Ohio requires PTCB certification to hire. It seems almost impossible to find a job around here. I am currently studying for my PTCB, but am not attending school for it (unfortunately don't have the time/finances) I know that retail pharmacy (Walgreens, Kmart, Kroger, CVS) are all entry level for pharm tech positions. Does anyone have any advice, because it's as if no one is gettin back with me on job leads. Are there any websites that advertise you for medical positions?

The economy is not exactly booming which makes people who would've left their pharmacy technician jobs hang onto it a bit longer. Everyone likes to stay put. =T Just keep trying and don't hesitate to knock on the same door again. My tip is to knock harder when the fall school semester starts, because a lot of summer interns/techs will be cutting back their availabilities then. 🙂 Good luck!
