Hello,

I am a fellow Rutgers University hoping to go into Dentistry. I basically flopped my entire freshman year. Plan to double major in biological sciences and economics.

First Semester:

EXPOSITORY WRITING I C+

CALCULUS I B

Term GPA: 2.633

Second Semester

RECITATION BIOLOGY A

GPA: 2.607


Summer Grades:

Macro Economics: A
Micro Economics: A

GPA: 2.9



Extracurricular Activities:

Started my own entertainment business- Registered and paying taxes for.
First Aide with CPR/AED certified
Over 100 Hours of Hospital Volunteer
50 Hours of Dental Shadowing
RU Pre Dental Society Active Member
RU FBLA Active Member




Sophmore Year: 1st Semester

Say if i get the projected grades listed above, do you think I can still make it into Dental School?



I am also looking to do more EC activities but i don't know what else to involve my self into?

I projected myself to get a 30 on my DAT...it didn't happen. Long story short, only you can get yourself into D-school...work hard and good things will happen.

Alright I understand that argument, but can we just say that is what i get just for reference sake?

All i am trying to ask is if there is a chance with the grades I have gotten and also my question regarding ECS...

I had 2.7 average GPA in my freshman year 🙂
