Hi, my part 1 exam is 2 months away from now. I spent the entire day today trying to memorize the nerve pathways (ex: which nerve has GSA, SA, GVE fibers, etc) and it's still not getting into my head. I feel like I am totally wasting my time and I cannot afford this b/c I still have studies the other sections of the actual exam yet. Any advice as to how I can approach this topic? Thanks a bunch!

ya...it will take time if u memorize everythng...

u can do wat i did....

jus read one nerve thn divide it into few questions
which nucleus it arises
what it is-sensory or motor
which part it innervates
what will happen if its is damaged
thn any important pathway...or hw it travels compared to other nerve...(if possible)

thn regarding GVE etc....read the kaplan book -cranial nerves intro
thts the general concept from which u can apply for all the nnerves...
