I am doing a research paper for my orgo 2 class and the topic has to include a discussion of the biochemical process that converts polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons into less harmful molecules. Do you think that this book from amazon would be useful? If not, what do you suggest that I do? I have looked all over online to try to find something that relates to this topic but so far I have had no luck.

wouldn't that be the job of oxidoreductases? Just a wild stab. Look that up to see if it solves anything.

Does your school's library have access to scientific journals? I know that at the UC's we have access to almost every major journal or publication (science, humanities, etc) online. Contact your librarian about what your library has to offer -- many people don't realize how useful a library is. And don't forget the physical library itself! These books are free for you to use, so use them.
