My parents don't have the resources to help me much with COA but after filling out the FAFSA the EFC I was given was between 9,000-12,000 (don't want to give an exact number).

Are UConn, UF, Stony Brook, Harvard, or Tufts known to give a lot of need-based aid to students, especially with a high EFC like this?

I wasn't offered merit-based scholarships when I was accepted but I know some schools wait to give them out in the Spring.

Stony brook gives need but it’s not that much
