Do you have to reapply for need based financial aid every year when you are in medical school or does the package stay constant unless your financial circumstances dramatically change?
 
You have to reapply every year. The aid is based on the financial package your fafsa EFC.
 
Yeah, every year. People’s financial circumstances can dramatically change after a year.

Those loans aren’t going anywhere, though.
 
Some schools won't change it but you'll still have to refill out the fafsa. For example johns hopkins will give you the same package every year unless you get more need then they can increase it. They said they never decrease it.
