Hey guys, I just took the practice usmle at the prometric testing center but my brain must have thought it was the real thing. Its taken a vacation and refused to think since I walked out of that test room this morning.

Any tips from the veterans on staying focused in the last two weeks of studying?

What kept me motivated was visualizing myself checking my test results on the day they come out. I very badly did not want to see a poor score. That's what kept me going. I also didn't want to hear about my classmates getting over 230 and 240, while I was stuck somewhere in the low 200's.

It will be a long time until my results come out, and I'm really not sure what I'll get. But, this mindset kept me highly motivated. 🙂

The thought of having to one day say to yourself; "man, I really wish I would have pushed it those last two weeks."

This is TWO measly weeks out of your entire life. Take a day, and then get on it again.

No regrets.

WellWornLad put it best a few weeks ago:
"Part of what step I is testing is the discipline to sit down and learn a ridiculous amount of material. In that respect, the test has already started. Best of luck with that!"
