Good afternoon.
So I am a pre med I graduated in Jan 2016 and I have applied to md do schools with not much luck didnt get any interviews.

So during the two years after I graduated I retook physics 1 and 2 at a community college in hopes of using it for grade replacement but I was hit with difficulty because soon after aacomas announced that the grade replacement policy had been changed.

My Aacomas official sci gpa is 2.96 cum 3.15
AAMCAS sci gpa 3.01 and 3.26

I took the mcat once in 2016 score was 496 and then three times after that with a score of 495 495 496 in the hopes of getting above 500 for a chance at do schools.

I am a NJ resident South Asian (indian) low income applicant and I applied to md do and podiatry schools. I was accepted to two podiatry schools nycpm and temple with scholarships. I submitted a deposit for nycpm at this time ( at the request of my mother)

I am really unsure of what to do and I dont know if Ii would like podiatry as well as the jobs after residency. I am positing this comment on multiple forms to give myself the best and most responses possible.

I dont know if I should do an smp at njms or st george's either.

Any all responses would be appreciated.

Depends on how old you are and how many extra years you're willing to risk to continue chasing a medical school acceptance. Crushing an SMP with an acceptance pipeline is the only way I can see someone with your stats getting into medical school. There are DO programs that have SMPs with linkage. LECOM and VCOM are two that come to mind. I would start doing some research on these programs.

DO NOT GO CARIBBEAN! even for the SMP. I'm not going to go into why in this thread, all you would need to do use the search function.
