Basically I'm wondering if I can work under a licensed psychologist with supervision and bill an insurance provider accordingly (blue cross in this case)... is it possible? Thanks!

Oh I have my masters, and I'm license eligible, I just need the hours.

You need to contact the BCBS for state in which you are practicing, as each BCBS is independent and has its own guidelines for credentialing, etc.

However, having said this, there are often similarities across them. In my experience, "providers who are unlicensed" are ineligible and "supervision of an unlicensed provider . . . does not constitute a service being rendered by an eligible provider."

Call BCBS and ask to speak to a provider network representative and/or whoever handles their credentialing.
