Need help clarifying this secondary prereq question?!?

OK so on one of my secondaries it states : "explain any grades lower than a B in any prereqs or science classes or any semester where you feel you had a dip in academic performance"

So their prereques are pretty standard: bio, physics, chem and English

BUT they recommend : calc, stats, biochem

I got As in all prereques but I got a B- in calc and in all my semesters I had a 3.7 or better so I don't think I had low performance in any semester BUT do I have to explain that B- , I don't want to bring attention to it and it's CLEARLY NOT A PREREQ but it is reccomendes ? What do I do?
