I've been scouring the forums for pros and cons to my situation and have found some great stuff. However, given that we're all considering post-bacc or are currently in a program, the circumstances relevant to my decision might be more relatable to you all. That said, any input would be a help.
I've gotten into UVM and Brandeis and need to give UVM a decision by Monday (just found out about Brandeis today, Friday). Currently, I'm finishing my Master's at Brandeis and have been here for ~2 years. Needless to say, I'm situated here, am happy with the school in general, and have made good friends. I see pros and cons to each of these programs, but academically as well as financially, they both seem on par. Not to mention Brandeis has a linkage program to GW whereas UVM has a guaranteed interview at their med school (with the proper grades).
Given this, I'm torn between the two. The prospect of moving this summer seems daunting, not to mention uprooting the life I've begun to build here. VT seems great, the community at the school sounds fantastic, and everything is much more localized there, ie volunteering, school and a job can all be done right in Burlington without a lot of commuting.
Anyway, I'm rambling so please excuse the long post. Any insight or opinions you guys might have would be much appreciated and really helpful.
