MCAT: 26 (8,9,9)

above average extracurrics and shadowing.

Jersey resident. Looking to apply to about 25 schools to cast a wide net and give myself a chance of getting accepted.

school list so far:

LECOM
PCOM
NYIY
RowanSOM
UP-KYCOM
VCOM-VC
VCOM-CC
WVSOM



please help in adding other schools. im aware of my stats so im aiming for the less stat heavy (more low tier) schools

Your stats aren't bad, especially your SGPA. You shouldn't get screened out at the schools that screen, and if you have good ECs, then that will be a bonus.

Have you considered Kansas City, ATSU, or CUSOM?
 
well actually....seeing that there are only 30 DO schools in the country.....

which 5 should I not apply to?
 
Well from what I've heard I wouldn't apply to
LUCOM
Western (OR) - regional bias?
Western (CA) - regional bias?
PCOM-GA
AZCOM - MCAT screen as mentioned

Or if you want to apply to one of those 5, maybe drop one of the schools with higher MCAT averages e.g. CCOM.
