Need help narrowing down my school list - stats inside

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I graduated this past spring and made a late decision to pursue medical school, so my EC's are kind of weak. I am applying next June, and the hours/time listed will be what I will have by next June. I am trying to narrow down my school list - so if anybody thinks that I don't have too much of a shot at any of my schools, I would love to hear it (and any other opinions). I'm trying to cut my list down to about 20 schools. Thanks!

B.S Chemistry / Biochemistry

cGPA - 3.71
sGPA - 3.62
(huge upward trend on gpa - 3.5cGPA my first two years and 3.9cGPA my last two)

- 6 Great LORs (3 science, 2 non-science, 1 volunteering) - All are strong, every letter was written by somebody who knows me extremely well inside and outside of the classroom.

- 150 Hours (1 year) Non-Clinical Volunteering - Helping a genetic counselor of the cancer center of my local hospital with whatever she needs at the time, mostly faxing paperwork to patient's physicians.
- 100 Hours (1 year) Volunteering at the local "soup kitchen"
- Relay for Life team captain for 4 years, leading 4 different teams to fund raise a total of $4,500 to donate to the ACS

I'd nix the DC schools because they have a ridiculous number of apps and high tuition. Brown heavily favors their UGs and so I would lose that one too.

Thank you so much for the input, I will definitely consider this when the time comes to apply. Does anybody else have any opinions? They would be greatly appreciated 😀

I agree. Further paring would depend mostly on your personal preferences and how many donations to the process you are willing to make. Personally, I would cut back on the reaches.
