I am looking for more information from either current students or students in the past about some types of learning of some schools. I have been accepted to Wheeling Jesuit and Emory and Henry. I have some hesitations about both and just looking for some more information.
From DPT students or past DPT students what do you think about going to a school that does not have a course strictly for anatomy and no cadaver lab? Also, what do you think about a school getting accredited in one more year because you do not know the pass rates of the students on the board exams?

run away from the ones without an anatomy class with a lab. I think that is essential. I don't even like the ones with the fake cadavers.
where I went to school I was in the second class. The APTA wants more schools to be accredited so if the non-accredited school is part of a larger university that appears to have made a meaningful commitment to the program, rest easy. Pass rates are more about the quality of the student than of the program IMO. If they become accredited, the curriculum has provided the necessary education to pass the test.
