Thanks for answering my questions beforehand!
i turned in my aadsas application three weeks ago and they calculated my gpa today, so it is going to take two more weeks to mail those application to schools. in the application, I said that I m going to retake dat in nov.2nd bcz 1st dat I took was on Aug. 2nd..I was thinking for studying only in this month and take dat, but sofar i didn't study anything. First of all, my fall school already started and I have flu since last two weeks. Do u think that it is going to be okay if I retake dat later than nov. 2nd or if I decided later that I don't wanna retake, Can I make changes at my application. I also need ur suggestions about retaking dat..Do u think that I should retake it or should I wait for schools' responses.. my stats are as:
pat-15
Rc-17
Qr-18
bio-19
gchem-21
ochem-22
ts-20
aa-19
I did bad bcz I couldn't finish most of the sections and left totally blank some questions in math..I did only two kaplan practice tests n read kaplan review before taking this test...
Gpa from aadsas is
BCP-3.69, science-3.7, nonscience-3.28, cumulative-3.56...
Any suggestion will be helpful...
Thanks a lot..

if you managed to get those score with only taking 2 practice tests before, I bet if you actually study, your scores will improve dramaticly. So study!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd say take a ton of practice tests so that you become more efficient, since you were running out of time. And of course focus on your PAT.

If you aren't going to study at all though, don't take the test again. But with your 15 PAT, I don't think that is a good option for you.

Study! And good luck

It all depends on what schools you applied to. Some schools look at more than DAT scores and GPA. I think you will be fine with your scores as they are if you have anything in your application that sets you apart from the other applicants. If you have no extracurricular activities or leadership experience on your application then you may want to do the retake.

thanks for replying. I have two year tutoring experience at community college n
university and some internship experience at dental school. Besides on Weekands, I worked at my brother's liquor store. Also, I have been in USA only from 5 yrs now. I applied to 22 schools;arizona, all CA schools, case, indiana, boston, marquette, nova, NYU, temple, tufts, nevada, pitts, west virgina...If u have a time, do u still think I should retake. Thanks a lot.

your stats are alright, I just think you might be in for a long haul solely because of applying late. AADSAS takes a few weeks (at minimum) to actually mail it to the school, and let alone the schools review it when it arrives that day is highly unlikely. So, stay on top of your application and GL
