Need help where to apply

Hello All. I am also preparing for the application cycle.
I am currently studyin for my dats, and will be taking them soon.
I chose to send my DAT scores to about 14 schools , and was also planning on applying to them. PLease let me know wat you think.

STATS: 3.27 overall, 3.05 science
Tons of extracirricular, been a dental assistant for 3 years, shadowed, volunteered. Parents dentists as well.
4 recc letters, 1.5 yr research, also publication in journal.
DAT: hopefully 19 or up.
Planning on applying on the 16th or wenenver aadsas opens, and will have everything sent out by end of may.

Schools im applying to : UF, Nova, UPenn, Temple, Case Western, UNJ, Tufts, Univ of Houstan, BU, Columbia, Univ of Tennessee, Univ of Pittsburgh, Virginia common wealth, and Howard.

What do yall think?

Just Dont blow up your DAT's you have very good chances of getting in. If my parents were dentists I would sit back and chill. You have a very good reason of applying.

Do you think that that is too many schools to apply to, or should I just go with the 14?

aren't Texas schools really hard for out of staters to get in?

Scratch TN its deadly hard to get into out of state.

i would say your stats are fine... you will get in somewhere... but don't bother applying to any out of state public school. they are hard to get accepted without exceptional stats. i mean, if you make a 22+ on your DAT, go for it... but otherwise you'd be wasting your time.
