need help with crack dat pat pattern folding

First, I want to say that this forum is great! I have been browsing it for about a month now while preparing for the DAT at the end of the month.

I need help on pattern folding. Specifically, shaded figures, figures with lines, and dice...

for example, if you have CDP, I need help on questions resembling Test 4: #82, 86, 88, 89. test 5: 81, 83, 86, 88, 89. If i stare at them for a few minutes i can usually figure it out, but I do not have that much time. And any unfolded dice questions.

other sections of the PAT I feel great about, just not pattern folding. Also, not doing good on pattern folding section on Top Score practice tests.

Overall, I have been getting 18 to 19 on whole PAT on CDP and Top Score. If I can get pattern folding, I know I will score a 20+

I cant think of any way to help with pattern development other than maybe try printing and cutting out the shapes that you are having trouble with and see it that way. This may help you learn the folds. Other than that just practice as much as you can. Eventually it will click.

any other opinions? I just took CDP #6 and did great on all sections except pattern folding. on this (#6) almost every one of the 15 were shaded or lined figures.

Please help
