Hi everyone,
I am so late with my applications that I am just so scared. I did AACOMAS application a month ago. And, in about 2 weeks, AACOMAS should be finished processing my application. Two schools I am applying for are NYCOM and Nova Southeastern. Nova requires that I shadow a D.O. and get a letter of recommendation from a D.O. I am one of those students who just recently decided to get into a D.O. schools. I like the philosophy of the osteopathic medicine, but I don't know any doctor in the field. I would be greatly appreciated if someone would be kind enough to give me some advice to how I can get a D.O. physician to shadow. I was just wondering whether to tell Nova if they can perhaps help me find one. If anyone has any experience with the two above schools, please share with me. I was relieved to know this website exists and everyone help each other out.
