NEED HELP WITH INFO ON APPLYING TO DENTAL SCHOOL

Hello everyone,

i hope this finds everybody in good spirits!!! If you all would be ever so willing to help me with a few pointers and guidance id GREATLY appreciate it. I graduated LAST May with my Bachelors in Biology. I signed up for the DAT and due to car issues I missed it!!! So, obviously i'm having to re-prepare my self for it mentally and study for it again but my question is this:

Please don't laugh but this whole process has me discouraged and overwhelmed i think im confusing myself.
After obtaining your Bachelors what are the steps to get into Dental school?

Can you apply to dental schools without having taken the DAT or should i take the DAT first?
Could someone tell me how they went about it? Any insight would help
