Hi I am in need of help. I am posting to give it a shot that someone might be of help, or might know what to do. I have a 10 year old chihuahua diagnosed with CHF. I have been getting my supply of Vetmedin Tablets from our local veterinary for the past couple of weeks. My chihuahua seems to respond very well with the medicine. I have tried other meds such as benazepril and enalapril, but vetmedin still seems to be the one that is most effective. My only problem is that my veterinary ran out of stocks and they dont really know aswell when they would be able to restock. I live all the way in the Philippines, and as I've checked noone really sells it here. Ive tried to get online but Ive contacted the seller, and seems that i need a Licensed US Veterinarian to issue a prescription. I have a prescription from our vet here, but quickly found out that it has no bearing. So that is the biggest problem, I need a prescription coming from a Licensed Vet from the US. I have no idea on how i will be able to get one. Is there a way where i can still order online there and have it sent to the Philippines ? Any help or feedback would be appreciated. I apologize if i may have posted on the wrong forum. Going out on a limb to try everything to help my chihuahua. Many Thanks

A US veterarian can't write a prescription for your dog without a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship, meaning they have to examine your dog. Can your veterinarian check with other distributors to see if they can get the drug from another source?
