I am a little confused about the what the materials are.
Are achiever, Topscore, and Destroyer all just practice exams or do they contain acutal outlines of material.
I crack that pat worth the 180 bucks or do the above cover the pat section well enough?
I heard that the Kaplan blue book is insufficient for the biology, is it good for the ochem and general chem?

Any input would be greatly appreciated
thanks

PS have already searched the forums.

I have destroyer , Kaplan BB, and Crack PAT. Destroyer is composed to multiple choice questions and detailed answers. I found it to be extremely useful because it covered extensive topics in bio and provided good practice in gen chem and orgo. I have gone over it twice in preparation of my July 21st test and feel a lot more confident now. If you invest in any DAT prep book, make it destroyer. As for Crack PAT, I bought the edition with the 10 practice tests (costs $100 I think). It rocks! Before I bought it, I could not finish the PAT section in time. Now, I can finish in time and have seen my PAT score increase each time. I would say that it is the best preparation for the PAT section. I also like the fact that the explanations really helped me visualize the 3-D figures. I recently bought the Kaplan BB and skimmed it a little. The biology section is not as detailed as destroyer, but the chem and orgo sections are more comprehensive. I also used the Kaplan BB for the math section and found it useful. Contact me if you have any questions I haven't answered. Good luck.
