I tried 2 times to get into dental school with a BS in biology (GPA 3.0) 😡 and didn't get accepted so I went and attended pursued a BS in dental hygiene. I graduated in May (GPA 3.7) and want to apply to dental school again. My DAT scores from the first two applications (AA#1: 19 & AA#2: 20) have expired so I have to retake it and I am lacking biochemistry.

Does anyone know of an online biochemistry class and are they accepted by any dental schools? Also, since I have to take biochem and the DAT, is it too late to apply for May 2012? Or should I wait until May 2013? What do you think are my chances of getting in with these stats?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!! 😀

Some colleges offer classes online, so you can look into schools in your area. I don't know for sure if dental schools will outright reject credits from an online class. But I can tell you that an online class (esp science) will not look good as a traditional class.

You can take Biochem after you apply to dental school but before you matriculate (esp if biochem is a requirement for the dental school).
