MD Need some advice, already applied

then you have a good chance with university of new mexico since they heavily select for in state applicants. you can also apply for puerto rican medical schools if you know spanish well enough
 
Mexican/Chicano. English fluency, very basic spanish. In terms of community service, I have been a counselor at stay away kids cancer camps for 6 camps. Also, I led fundraising for making strides, relay for life, and walk ms during all my college years. Volunteer lego judge for at state fair for 8 years
Your only real MD chance is your state school. UNM matriculated around a dozen students with your MCAT score. Your chances at OOS schools with that score are remote.
 
If you are not accepted this year it would be a good idea to retake the MCAT with much pretest studying. Also if you are not accepted this year consider applying broadly to DO schools next year.
