hi all
thanks in advance for reading and chiming in
i've gone through kaplan lecture notes + videos for anatomy, biochem, physiology, behavioral science, immunology.
for pharm, i went through the general principles only
for microbio, im using howard shen flash cards and doing about 15 cards per day
for pathology, i've gone through rapid review pathology by goljan together with the slides and audio

all the while, especially when going through kaplan LN, i was annotating into First Aid 2012.
i've done a little bit of Kaplan Qbank but now my subscription has expired. i would say prob only about 10% as i chose questions by specific systems/subjects as i went through them.

i dont feel very confident about taking the Step 1 in 4 weeks at all.
i dont even think im confident to take a NBME now

im not sure how i should be spending my time in the next few weeks best. should i go through FA one more time in about 1 week's time, then take a NBME, see where im at, then go through DIT in about 10-12 days, and during that time, do UWorld as much as possible, and keep going with UWorld till the exam? with revisions of FA?

please help.. thanks!

decided to go with USMLE World timed tutor mode for next 2 weeks and then see how it goes with a UWSA1 or 2.

while I'm doing DIT in the same time (14 days)

will try to aim to do as many UWorld Questions as possible, hopefully more than 1000

after that, ill go random mixed on uworld for a week, and then a NBME to see where I'm at

if its not a pass score or at least a 220, ill postpone my test (which i hope not to be the case as i expect the MPH course i'm starting on Aug 27 will be intense and a big big distraction from USMLE!!)

take a nbme. don't be scared of doing poorly. if you do do poorly who cares? it doesn't count. waiting till the real test to figure out where you stand is extremely dumb.
