Hey everyone,
I just wanted some advice I'm taking Biodiversity 310 (5cr) at my school over the summer for some reason this class is one month long and does not expand over the entirety of the summer. Right now I am track to graduate in the fall with a 3.5cgpa and 3.5sgpa with a 30 (10,10,10) mcat. For some reason at my school this class is notoriously hard and people end up doing very poorly in this class. I was in a car accident first week of school so I had to make up a lot of the lab and such which was really time consuming. My first test is on Thursday I'm considering dropping it because I have had barely any time to review the material. This fall if I decide to take the class a different professor will be teaching it who is even worse then the professor in the summer but the positive is that the lecture (3cr) and lab (2cr) will be separated. This is due to many people doing well in the lab (really easy) but doing very poorly in the lecture portion. Btw I forgot to mention lecture (60%) and lab (40%) 1000 pts in class 3 exams (200 each) and 10 pt grading scale. Most people end up getting C's or D's in a 5cr class which kills gpa's. My fall schedule will look like this if I decide to drop: Histology+lab (4cr) Biochem (4cr) Biodiversity (3cr)+lab (2cr) and Psychology (3). Any Advice?
