Need some advice

I have a 3.0 cgpa and 2.75 sgpa. Junior Psychology major. Can't do anything with Psych major. After college, I will not be supported by my family in terms of tuition so going to have to take loans for postbac or smp. I did take out some loans before but it wasn't too. so should I pursue a different field for now just to get a good backup career(in state school) in case dental school doesn't work out? I want my end result to be dentistry because I like the field.

why not just apply to dental school and see if you get in?
Worried that your GPA is too low? Apply to some expensive private schools where the tuition is so outrageous that it keeps the GPA low: NYU, USC, BU.

Nope, she knows better than all of us how expensive it is; almost certainly lowers matriculation rate. It's a good school, not knocking it, GPA has nothing to do with how good of a dentist you'll be.

I personally check the undergraduate transcript of every dentist I go to to make sure they had at least a 3.5 GPA. I assume this is what most other people do as well.

Take a year off after you graduate. Find a job (researcher, dental assistant etc.) Make some money. Then come back and apply

Do I applying after my senior year and a glide year(1 year off). Or do I apply after taking a year off after my senior year which will be 2 years off in total before going into dental school?

I believe apply the summer you graduate
