Need Some Advice

I'm taking the DAT at the end of September and I am confident that I will score well. But I want to wait and see my DAT scores before submitting my application but I realize that this might be "too" late.

Should I put my application in now and send my DAT scores in later or should I wait till I get my DAT scores to send my application in???

Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!

If you are confident, you should really send in your app right now see it is already kinda late.

At this point, its going to take AADSAS probably around 3-4 wks to verify your GPA, and then another 2 weeks or so to send the apps out to respective schools. This means the schools won't have your files until early/mid October. There is not cut-off day but you really should send in your app as soon as possible.

My app. was sent in late May/early June, but my LOR wasn't sent until late June. I also just recently took the DAT (8/11) so I am just hoping that they get there as soon as possible...

Normally, anywhere from 1-3 weeks although ADA said it can take up with 4, 5 weeks but its uncommon. Also, some schools will NOT accept anything else other than the official DAT score, so you may want to call and see which schools are thos.

hi, seems like i m in the same boat now...i been reading the posts between u two...jigabodo, i m delaying my exam to sept i guess. knowing that it is ok to take then. i will send in my app too as soon as possible..i just have to finish my personal statement. i will have month to study hardcore instead of just a week i had. what are your advice on personal letter. i feel like i have so much to write. i started, i m just not sure about it. i m usually a good writer. i help my cousins with their personal letter...i just m so not sure of mine.
