Hey guys. I'm just back on here to ask some of you if you feel the same way as I do at times.

These are my stats. I am currently taking General chem, general bio, and calculus (I have class 5 days a week). I'm a bio major and am doing really well in my biology class, yet not as well as I know I can in my chemistry and calculus class. I've been a Cpht and worked at a pharmacy for 4+ years now, and am currently averaging a little over 16 hours of work per week. I know the semester is nearly half way through, but at times I just get way too overwhelmed and feel like I don't understand the material and don't have enough time to study it all (oh and by the way I'm only at a jc right now... PLEASE don't laugh at me all you smart people at the UC's🙁 🙁) I'm not one to get discouraged, but at times I do need some motivation from those around me. I'm probably letting all my stress out now in this post since I had a Bio lab midterm and lecture exam today, and have a chem and calculus test coming up next week....

Do you guys think I'm just being a big baby and need to SUCK IT UP and get down to business... or is my workload too much, or then again am I being an even more big baby by asking if my workload is too much, when in reality its not enough????? HELP, I NEED ADVICE FROM ANYONE WHOS EXPERIENCED WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH!!! OR AM I ALONE OUT HERE ????????😡

By the way, study tips, motivational tips, or any other form of advice is truly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

I know how your feeling I'm actually taking 6 classes this semester and going to class 5 days a week. I feel overwhelmed at times but you need to be able to balance out everything. I don't work but I had 2 exams this week and and one more tomorrow 🙁 I'm always tired but I just remind my self that the semester will be over soon.😱

Everyone goes through moments of doubt and huge stress. What you can deal with is completely a personal thing. If you feel you have too much going on, try working less.

My frosh year I was freaking out about the work load and didn't think I could handle college. Now I'm working 20+ hours a week, volunteering, involved in clubs, and taking 16 credits. Sometimes you just have to keep going even if you don't think you can handle it. Then you can prove to yourself that you get through the hard times. But always know when you are doing more than you can handle. I have a lot of friends that take on too much and that only causes everything to be poor. Don't compare yourself to what other people are doing; do what is right for you!

I never worked while going to school full-time, but a couple semesters I took 19 credit hours, worked in a lab a few hours a week, and had extracurriculars. The key is to prioritize - I always made sure my schoolwork came before any extracurrics, working out, going out, etc. If work is too much for you, cut back on your hours. And make use of professor office hours and review sessions so you stay on top of all your work, and don't leave your studying until the night before. It can be done!

thanks alot guys..... I know it can be done I just needed some support from others who have been or who are going through the same situation as myself.... you are RIGHT prioritizing and being organized is key
