Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I just finished my first year of college and am a bit confused about applying to dental school.
1) When can you apply? Is it after you finish all the pre-reqs or after you finish both pre-reqs and get a degree in whatever your major is?
2) When should I take the DAT?
I already know the pre-reqs that I must complete:
English 6hrs, Biology 8hrs, Physics 8hrs, General Chem 8hrs,
Organic Chem 8hrs, Biochemistry 3hrs, Statistics 3hrs.
And out of those pre-reqs, I have completed the following:
English 3hrs, Biology 7hrs, Physics 8hrs.
I haven't decided on what to major yet, but probably something in business, just in-case dental doesn't work out for me. (Hoping for the best and preparing for the worst). Any advice on when to take those classes, what order to take them in, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I want to be able to apply to dental school ASAP.
