Hi guys, I'm in a very bad situation. So I already took two physics classes. General Physic 1 mechanic & heat was from a quarter system school. It was 4 credits, but was translated into 3 credits in my school (semester system). Physics 2 was Electric and Optic (for Physic and Engineering major) 3 credit without the lab. For some reason the lab is only offered on the spring semester and Pass/Fail only. So far I only have 6 credit of physic done. My schools only have General physics 1&2 for non-Engineering&physic majors. And I can't take them because some of the material will overlap with the physics courses I had already took. My advisor suggest me just take the one credit P/F lab and be done with physic. But I was worried that the P/F lab will not be counted or will hurt my chances at MD school. So I enrolled in Physic 3 (wave, oscillation, quantum physic for engineering & physic major), 4 credits with lab. This class is insane. It requires 3level of calculus + differential equations. I just took the first prelim yesterday and already have a bad feeling about it.
I am thinking about dropping it (if my score is bad) and take general physic 2 next semester. I did get As in both of my past physics classes, and I not sure how MD school will look at this pseudo-retake of class. What do you think?
