I am a freshman exercise science major at the moment. I plan to attend pt school after finishing undergrad. I had a few questions I can't seem to find the answers to.

1) Does you experience and observational hours matter whether it's voluntarily or while working in a physical therapy clinic? Generally how many hours should one spend observing or working before applying?

2) I see many schools require anatomy and physiology to be taken separate but my university only offers them courses together. If I took a&p 1 and 2 would that be acceptable?

3) Is there a site I can get info on about the average GRE scores and GPAs for each school?

Hi,
1) Most programs require a certain amount of hours, whether it be voluntary or work experience. The general number is usually 100 hours in multiple settings.

2) Yes, A&P1+2 is fine for most programs. You should verify with the schools individually.

3) Explore your heart's desire. http://www.ptcas.org/Directory.html
