How are the science and cumulative GPAs calculated for DO school? Do they only count the most recent 120 credits (I heard this and need to know if this is true)? I will have a graduate/postbacc degree by the time I am ready to apply, which is only adding to my confusion.

Short answer: your gpas wil be sliced and diced from undergrad to post bac. It will show them everything.

Anything that falls under "science" according to the aacomas designation will be calculated in your science gpa.

Your cumulative gpa will include all coursework (post bac and undergrad).

You will also have a post bac gpa (coursework taken AFTER being awarded your undergrad degree)

As far as the "120" thing, some schools focus on your last 120 credits starting from your post bac. But that is just a focus they will still count everything.

No, they count every class you took in college, even those dual enrollment classes you took in high school (if you were in such a program).

AACOMAS will report your undergrad GPA and your grad GPA separately. All undergrad courses will be counted.

How can I find out which schools focus on the last 120?
