So I am planning to take my DAT On July 21st so that gives me about 3 weeks to prepare for it. I have been slacking bad and probably only studied a total of maybe 1 week combined and I barely feel ready so I need some advice on how to tackle the next 3 weeks to score well over 20s.
The material I have is Topscore, Achiever, Destroyer, Kaplan (Blue book), Schuam (biology), and a bunch of kaplan practice tests (about 3).
I took one topscore and averaged 18 across the boards with a 20 on PAT.

This seems like alot of stuff and I am unsure about how I should go about completing it. I am planning on putting in at least 8 hours daily.

This is what I was thinking and feel free to give some advice and correct me. I was thinking of going through destroyer twice, should I do this once now and then once later or knock it out twice in a row? I was also thinking of taking each Topscore and Achiever test twice, is that a good idea or should I dedicate that time for somethin else? Since I barely have anytime I was planning on visiting books only if something was unclear and just rely on all the practice problems, or should I read the material in a few days then start things out. I need advice from people that went through the same situation or are going through it right now. PLEASE HELP!!!

I had three weeks to study and I did pretty well on my score. Search for my post with my scores.

I would spend 5 days hitting orgo, 5 days hitting chem and 7 days remembering everything you can about bio. With the days left I would spend one day brushing over QR. Take the three topscore tests one each day and study RC and PA as you take those tests. Remember some formulas for QR before you take the test and you should be good to go.

With those last few days I would look over orgo, chem and bio all at the same time to make sure you have them down.

You'll nver feel like you're ready but if you're studying, you should be ok.

thanks for the advice... i think im going to do that bt i know its going to be tough and im just hoping for the best...

Is Achiever really necessary? I am taking a Kaplan online course, I have Kaplan books, and I have destroyer. I have 5 weeks until the DAT and I have been slacking a bit as well.

Hey I studied 3 weeks for mine.. and i was pretty happy with my score. Check out the link under my signature.. some break downs on how to study and the material i used. I was too poor to invest too much into this test.. i think u have everything already. Good luck studying!!

I don't think anything is necessary but its more full length test practice and I hear the PAT section on Aciever is pretty good and somewhat similar to the real DAT. If you feel like you need more practice then it might not be a bad invesment, its only $50 which doesn't really break the bank.
