What's up - I was looking for a good medical reference text that goes into detail about electrolyte, vitamin and mineral balance.

I was initially interested in expanding on calcium-magnesium homeostasis, but that alone wouldn't complete the whole picture right? 🙂

I've got an older copy of rapid review pathology and Costanzo's physiology. I suppose it might be covered better in Big Harrison's too, but I don't have a copy on hand at the moment. If you happen to have one - please let me know how the coverage is.

There's another book on amazon titled, "Vitamins and Minerals Demystified by Steve Blake" and was on the recommended list here on SDN a few years back - personally, I can't comment on it.

Alright - appreciate anything that one of y'all might have come across. Thanks 🙂

Harrison's has lot of clinical application rather than in-depth physiology. Look into Guyton's for physiology, or actually any good biochemistry reference text will have pretty solid coverage of the material.

Thanks for mentioning those - if anyone has any more specifics to share... much appreciated!
