I have a 3.84 overall GPA, 3.68 BCPM GPA in a dual-degree program (2 bachelors upon graduation). My ECs are good, but I don't have any research experience. So far I have applied to eight schools (list below).

I just got my MCAT scores back, 36S (12P/13V/11B). Should I apply to more schools, and if so, which ones would be recommended? I would like to stay within eight to ten hours' drive from my home state of Delaware.

The schools I've applied to so far are:

Jefferson
Drexel
Penn State
Commonwealth
VCU
Virginia Tech Carilion
NYMC
Stony Brook

Anyone who could suggest more to round out my list would be greatly appreciated. I don't have a ton of money to spend, so 15 schools would be my absolute limit.

Ok, I added two more schools (Rochester and SUNY Upstate... I know Upstate's OOS acceptance is pretty low but I really love central NY). Could anyone suggest a reach school or two to add to my list?

My main limitation is that I don't have any research at all... would that make any of the top 20 a waste of time for me? I think my stats are competitive except for the lack of research.

I've considered applying to Duke because it's within my 8-10 hour target radius and one of my letters of recommendation is from a former faculty member... I'm told it was a very strong letter. Would this possibly offset the lack of research?

Pretty much, unless you have some outstanding achievement in some other field of endeavor (Olympic Gold, Nobel Prize, etc).

No.

Virginia Tech is also research-oriented, BTW.

You might consider: Brown, UMaryland, UConnecticut, Ohio State, Toledo, UCincinnati, Wake.
