On their website it says, "The minimum predental courses required at time of application are:" (source: http://sdm.rutgers.edu/admissions/predental-requirements.htm)

Does this mean that one has to have these courses completed before applying? I'm hoping to hear from someone who is attending Rutgers/UMDNJ or has applied previously.

I'd be missing one semester of one prerequisite, which I am taking in the year that I apply. The rest are done, and I've done plenty of upper-level science courses.

Update: Called the admissions office and was told, "You can apply, but the application has to show that you're taking [the class]." Sounds like standard protocol as far as dental schools go.
