need to memorize all molecular geometries?

Heyyyy everyone,


so obviously memorizing the electron geometries (linear, trigonal planar, tetrahedral, etc) isn't a big deal, but do we need to memorize the molecular geometries as well? there's so many...and i never memorized them for gen chem because she gave us the table tsk tsk.. ;x

should i be safe and memorize all of them anyway? this is the lazy part of me not wanting to x_x

You definitely shoud. I've seen molecular geometry questions in almost all of my practice questions, this includes ADA 2009 sample test!

It's not too hard....just memorize the basic ones....
