So I'm looking into pre-dental and right now I'm at a community college. I've done all my electives here, english, etc. So All I have left is a foreign lang. and my pre-recs. I plan to transfer to uic, depaul or loyola but before I do it says I need to get pre-calc and gen chem and or bio done.
If I just take calc, bio and chem here and do all the others (bio2, chem 2, physics and orgo) at one of those universities will I be okay? It seems a lot of schools r against pre recs at CC. I dont rly seem to have a choice though.
Btw: If it matters im not looking into any top dental schools, I'd actually like to attend MWU or UIC's program as my 1st choices b/c of location.

Contact someone in admissions at those dental schools and ask them for advice. They might be OK with biology from a CC, but not chemistry (just an example).

I have been doing some research about this.
First of all, forget Tuft ( No CC credit at all) and Boston (30 max but doesnt apply to science courses 🙁). The rest of the DSs are pretty OK with CC as long as you get good DAT scores.
Actually, top dental schools don't care about CC credits that much.

Thanks! I actually dont plan to apply to either of those schools so this should hopefully work out fine.
